Dave, this kind of powerful information could corrupt what is currently a monopoly on open source software in the workplace; our monopoly. Even though our programming works faster and better, we php nerds are always the black sheep of the developers. If the administrators get wind of this they could add php tools to everyone's MSVS IDE, then the MS sheep might take a chance and try something new... and then the mystery is over... :D

I'm looking forward to seeing how this tool is able to make sense of an includes folder that is above the web root. If it is able, and, can share that includes folder with multiple projects all while using a vcs, I would, first, be very surprised, and second, be very interested.

Thanks for checking this out and sharing it here.

I haven't tried including any files in the project above the project directory, while I certainly can include the files, I will have to figure out how to get them into the IDE. I am thinking that resources may be the answer. I will run some tests and see what I can figure out.

The practical examples will only be about the basics since I am only writing a tutorial and not a complete publication. After I get that commitment out of the way, I will mess around with some of the advanced features and let you know what I find out.
